My students are autistic and have behavior problems.They are slow learners, and are functioning at a lower grade level. They are in a class of 6:1:1 which means 1 teacher, 6 students and 5 teacher assistants.They are visual learners and enjoy lots of hands on activities. Some have knowledge of computer and can play music.The others can sit and listen to a story with visuals. My school is a special education high school with about 630 students all with disabilities and have about 400 staff who work full time with the students. Every class room has 1 computer for the staff and students to be used. I will be very happy to have this computer so my students can have some computer time every day. Also I can use it during my break while I am away from my classroom; for planning lessons and activities on a daily bass. Our school is the largest school for student with disabilities .My schools budget has no extra money to purchase more computers.
