I have the privilege to teach at one of the most diverse high schools in Massachusetts and the most diverse in the city of Boston. We are a large-urban community, with a majority of students from families living at or near the poverty level. Our students are some of the highest achievers and we have a strong, classics based curriculum. We believe all of our students deserve high expectations and the proper support to attain them. However, as our students are high performers, our school receives a budget much lower than other schools. Your donation will help us to purchase additional materials to enhance our language curriculum.
