My students need a listening center with Wireless Classroom Headphone Set and Boom Box plus battery and storage for Read-Alongs to hear examples of fluent readers. Many of my students cannot read independently and would benefit from examples of fluent reading while following along with the accompanying text. My students will be exposed to vocabulary from enriched text and comprehension skills will be increased through listening. Joseph Addison said, "Reading is a basic tool in the living of a good life". I would like to assist my students in acquiring all they can through hard work and persistence. Please help me, help my students become better equipped to deal with the world around them. By donating to my projects, my students may have a brighter future ahead while they leave the world of poverty behind them.
