Thank you for considering this project. Our request, the color printer/copier, is needed to help support student communication skills in and out of the speech room. The value to student communication abilities is priceless. First, it will allow non-verbal students to communicate using individualized communication boards. Also, it will enhance comprehension skills by allowing us to create visual cues and differentiated learning materials. Students with behavioral difficulties will benefit from the motivational charts and individualized reward systems that will be created. In addition, this printer will strengthen communication between our speech department and student's families. We will be able to frequently reproduce items worked on in the speech room as differentiated and engaging homework assignments.
