Kids love to move, and indeed, need to move. In a typical school day, meeting the curriculum requirements, building in time to "move" can be a real challenge. Instructional requirements do not allow for the 2-3 recesses a day that many parents remember, and thus the opportunity to move must seamlessly be incorporated into the flow of the day. Adding a feature to my classroom that allows the students to both WORK and MOVE is a win-win for my students, and for me as a teacher - since I'm invested in their success!
