My students are something fierce! They're bold, courageous, loud and proud! They're also adventurous and curious. In our classroom, we have 36 second graders all from different backgrounds and walks of life. These students were born into an impoverished area and are not privileged with the same opportunities and experiences that many children of their age group receive. We work very hard to expose them to as many engaging learning experiences as possible to help them to become better readers, writers, mathematicians, historians, scientists, and contributing members of society. Our school is a Title I school and 100% of our student population receive free breakfast and lunch.
