I am a math specialist/5th grade teacher in Boston, Massachusetts. My classroom is made up of a very diverse population of learners. Many of my students come from homes with limited opportunity. Some of my students do not get the help they need at home because their parents are also coming from another country and have not fully learned the English language. My students face many hardships in life and it is my job as their educator to do the best I can for them.
