My students are 7 the graders that come from 23 surrounding towns to learn in our STEM magnet school. They are like all students and eagerly respond to inquiry, learning in new environments, group tasks and challenges, and are learning to support each other despite coming from very different backgrounds and experiences. As a school we look to integrate the STEM content into all classes, where language arts is a coordinating class to concepts and experiences in math and in science and vice versa. Wile we look at learning in a digital environment, we continue to recognize the need for printed material and publishing as a continuing avenue of communication.

About my class
