We are excited to be in a brand-new building, and this year we are adding two SBS classrooms. As the Dean of Students, I will be supporting two classrooms known as the Exceptional Children’s Specialized Behavior Support (EC/SBS) class, which serves students in grades K–5. Our students follow the general education curriculum but may have emotional and behavioral challenges that require extra support. Sensory tools and social-emotional resources help them self-regulate, de-escalate, and stay engaged in learning. These bright, capable scholars also benefit from motivational incentives and calming areas that encourage emotional regulation and success in the classroom. We are seeking donations of sensory items, incentives, and other supportive resources to help our students thrive. Your contribution will make a meaningful difference in their academic and personal growth.
