Being that we are a Title 1 school, most of my students come from middle to low social economic backgrounds. Our campus is located about a mile from the beach. As a physical education teacher I find it disheartening that many of my students do not take advantage of how many outdoor recreation activities are at their disposal and far too often choose to stay indoors in front of a television or computer.
