My students are extraordinary! Despite their challenging circumstances and experiences (that would shatter your heart) they come to school everyday with positive attitudes eager to tackle new learning adventures. They constantly inspire me to be the best teacher possible. That is why I really want to give our classroom a makeover. I've made curtains, put up new boards, brought in plants, scrubbed and painted. But despite these upgrades, our classroom still appears drab because of our old rug that sticks out like a sore thumb.
