Our school is in Brooklyn, NY. We are an inclusion school - meaning students of all levels learn together in one classroom. We have an abundance of special education kids, English Language Learners, children who are emotionally disturbed and many on the autistic spectrum. What makes us so special is that these youngsters are integrated with general education students. Our location is such that the student population is also culturally diverse - we are the United Nations! In one classroom I've had kids from Yemen, Albania, China, Russia, Italy, Pakistan, The Caribbean and many others! Our school is wonderfully unique and there is a level of love and acceptance like I've never seen anywhere else. The kids really respect one another and embrace their differences.
