Our school is located in one of the most diverse cities in the United States, and our students reflect that diversity. Our students come from all over the city to study at one of the best high schools in the country. These are highly motivated young individuals who will end up being the movers and shakers of our future. Many come from impoverished neighborhoods and most receive free and reduced lunch and breakfast. They have very busy schedules and are under a lot of academic pressure. Our school offers 27 AP courses and students are required to take a minimum of one to graduate, though many take two or three a year as juniors and seniors.
