My students come for varied ethnic backgrounds who are also from low income families. Most of my parents cannot speak or understand English. My preschool classroom is free or subsidized to most of the families. My children are most eager learners I have ever come across despite having very limited exposure to the outside world, limited vocabulary, lack of parental support this children are making it work for them. My school district is very supportive of my classroom and parents but funding for appropriate materials is always a struggle.
