The students in my class are high achieving and always doing their best to challenge me and themselves in various ways. Students in my class also love to read anything they can get their hands on. Students read books such as Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Arabian Knights, Grimm's Fairy Tales, H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds to name a few. I am having to keep up with them in terms of their ability and challenging them to better understand the material which they are reading and engaging in. I would also describe the school in which I work as very high achieving. The goal of the school I work in is to prepare students for the eventuality of going to a university. We do this by getting students to think both inside and outside the box, we encourage creativity and the ability to inquire. We also want students to learn that they must fall before they can get up. I hope this gives you some insight to the students at our school and how our school operates.
