Hello! My name is Casi Brown. I am in my second year teaching Art here at South Albany High School. I am lucky enough to be able to offer a lot of different art opportunities to students. We have been able to maintain a strong Jewelry Making program as well as Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics and Sculpture classes. With the costs of art materials today it has been harder to keep up with the demand and we've really just been able to scrape by with the basics. Many of our tools are easily 20 years old and have been maintained through small fixes here and there. It would be wonderful for the students, if we were able to, to update some of these supplies and even get new materials for them to try out new processes within ever changing art forms! Please help us out if you can!
