I am a second year Teach for America corps member who teaches 24 amazing 4th graders in a high need community. Though almost 90% of the students at our school receive free lunch, they are showing amazing growth and working very hard to make their college dreams a reality. Recently, my school was overjoyed to learn that we had some of the most significant academic gains of any elementary school in the entire school district!
