My enthusiastic and growing learners of 1st grade come to school each day expecting a 21st century education. While our diverse school community in San Francisco is a wonderful one that faces the challenge of being a social economic disadvantage one (80% of students are on free or reduced lunch), integrating technology everyday is a huge obstacle. The solution to this would be is to set up a classroom area where there would be 5 Chromebooks so my students can have daily access to it while learning the skills needed for 21st century education. I'm hoping this vision can become a reality so my students can have equitable access to 21st century education with the fundamental tools of Chromebooks in the classroom!
