The use of technology is essential in classrooms today. The headphones and charging station will be used with our 5 classroom iPads. We use technology daily, and these headphones would allow students in my class to work on iPads in a listening center while other students work independently or in small groups. With these headphones, 5 students at a time will be able to pick a story of their choice, listen to it being read, answer comprehension questions, then practice fluent reading on their own. My students would have the freedom to explore stories that interest them to help them grow into young, independent, fluent readers! The charging station will make sure that the iPads are ready when they are needed and the headphones easily accessible. By donating to our project, you will help my students concentrate, increase their reading skills, and have fun!
