My literacy project will be used whole group. By giving each student a copy of the book, my students who need additional support with reading will be able to easily follow along as opposed to me just using one book as a class read aloud. In addition to reading, my class will also develop their writing skills using the text as a tool to cite evidence. Every day, the class will read a chapter and answer a directed question in their writer's notebook. Please help my group of kids not only become better readers, but also develop a love for reading.
