I work at an amazing school in Texas! I love my campus and enjoy incorporating technology into my classroom. IPads make learning fun and engaging for the students and it provides documentation of progress and struggles. I work with a diverse group of learners who benefit from learning in a multisensory classroom. I incorporate visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile learning into my teaching philosophy. All of the kids have a strong desire to learn, yet some of the students need technology to help communicate their thoughts and ideas through speech to text programs. We utilize Bookshare and Learning Ally for students that struggle with reading to allow all kids access to grade level curriculum.
