I am a librarian at an elementary school that has a very high poverty rate. I have been a classroom teacher for 10 years, but this is my fourth year promoting literacy all day long!!! The children at my school are very diverse, coming from every great corner of our earth. I have all grades of children, from Kindergarten to grade 8, coming to check out books from the library.
