I have 22 students in my classroom with 5 English Language Learners and 3 Special Education students. Currently more than half of my students are reading well below grade level. My goal is for all of my students to improve their reading fluency and develop a love for reading! I teach at a Title I school where 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. The resources at my school are very limited and some of the items that I need for my classroom come from my own pocket. In my class, more than half of my students are currently reading below grade level. I am looking to add a listening center and boom box to my classroom. With a listening center, my students will improve their reading fluency as well as improve their comprehension..
