Help me give my students headsets to practice their English listening and speaking skills! As English Language Learners, my students need multiple opportunities to be exposed to the English language. Headsets with listening and speaking functions will help provide these opportunities. Listening to a language is essential to learning the language. With these headsets, students can work independently or in small groups at the computer to listen to fluent reading. They will also have the opportunity to practice their English speaking through the microphones and recorded speech. Right now we do not have any headsets with the capability to practice speaking. These headsets will open the door to many interactive listening activities and will enable me to differentiate instruction. My students will enjoy being able to practice their English speaking without the pressure of speaking in front of others initially. We hope you will consider helping our ESL classroom!
