I teach 120 amazingly talented students each semester. They inspire me with their creativity, curiosity, and willingness to learn. In Fashion Design, students learn basic Fashion Illustration techniques, create and print surface patterns, and construct simple garments. These projects require specific materials in order to be successful, and we currently do not have enough resources to meet the needs of Fashion Design in addition to the 6 other Visual Arts courses we also offer. Funding this project will allow students to fully immerse themselves in the design and clothing construction projects that this Fashion Design course allows them to explore and create.
