I am a 4th and 5th grade special education teacher at an urban, high-need, diverse public school. 92% of the students in my school live at or below the poverty line. I teach reading, writing, math, and social skills to students who have a wide variety of special needs. My students work incredibly hard and our school is efficiently run, however, we have a very small budget. A very substantial portion of my personal finances have gone into paying for basic classroom supplies that my student need to learn. Please help our class get the tools they need to learn!
