I teach Technology Education at Horace Greeley Elementary. I teach approximately 600 students in grades K-8th. During technology classes, I strive to provide our students with a solid foundation of technology and computer science skills as they prepare for High School, College and the work place. Our Students come with a variety of technology backgrounds and I strive to create a community of learners where we learn about the processes and knowledge related to various technology tools, software and other applications. My goal is for students to continue to build on their skills and be able to apply their knowledge in other content areas and become technology creators not consumers. Some of the software programs we use in our computer lab include Google Sketchup (3D Modeling), Alice (Object Oriented 3D Programming), HTML (Web Design), Javascript (Web page interaction), Google Apps, Code.org, Khan Academy, etc.
