Having the ability to provide our schools' students with personal care items can change students' confidence, emotional well-being, and provide a positive atmosphere when they are at school. It is our job as educators to ensure that all students have everything they require to make sure they are receiving the best education possible. Breaking down these barriers will help students focus on their success while in our schools. My students should have access to deodorant, laundry care, and shower care items to make sure they have a chance at being successful in the classroom and promote a positive learning environment. These personal care items will help inner city students stay clean and increase their self-image. Everybody should have the opportunity to have their basic needs met. We, as community members, have a responsibility to make sure our youth have their basic care needs met.

About my class
