I LOVE MY STUDENTS! Each and everyone one of them bring something special and unique into our classroom every day. Our school is 100% free and reduced lunch. So with that said, you can imagine that as lovable as they are, many of them have to overcome many obstacles just to make it to school daily. I have a total of 19 students. That number changes almost weekly though. Within our community, families are constantly moving in or out, based on seasonable farm work and/or ability to pay rent. Of my 19 students, 2 are in special eduction, 5 receive speech services, 3 are autistic, and all 19 are active learners! Our school is like one big family, where everyone loves one another and takes care of one another no matter what!
