My students are the kind of kids who walk into a room and get noticed. They are vivacious and loving. My first graders have seen a lot of heartache in their young lives but are not too quick to give up at getting the basics. My school is a typical inner city school. We are located in a rough area and these families are truly committed to doing better for their kids. All 19 of my children are transient and it saddens me when life's circumstances forces them to pick up and relocate. If they get to return to us we feel great all over! It's Christmas no matter what the calendar says.
