My students are sixth, seventh and eighth grade students who live in one of the most desirable cities to live in America. However, our school envelopes the lower middle to lowest income students in our community. They are diverse in income, cultures, and experience. We are not a Title l school. My students are bright and highly motivated to succeed beyond high school due to the excellent leadership of our faculty and community. We are a National AVID Demonstration School and have achieved statewide recognition for achievement academically and in the fine arts. I want to continue to provide opportunities and experiences for them to develop a love of art and learning.
