My 2nd grade students attend a Title 1 school which is suffering budget short falls in a low economic area of the city. Due to economic constraints, the parents of my students are not always able to help them with their math and reading skills. As a Title 1 school, we not only feed their bodies but have to feed their minds, but we don't always have the creative materials to do this.
