This project will be used by over 600 students daily. It will help our students develop their gross motor abilities, their ability to work as a team, and many more social emotional characteristics. Our project is going to bring sports equipment and recess activities to our students. Our four and five year old students will use this project to develop key gross motor functions and their ability to share and play with others. Our older students will be using the equipment for learning how to be part of a team, how to win and lose appropriately, and how to problem solve together for a common goal. Children are not born with the ability to work and play well with others. It is up to us as educators to develop that knowledge within our students and what better way than to play a game!
