Our students are beautifully diverse, and come from many different backgrounds. Many students do not get the support they need at home, due to varying circumstances such as poverty, language barriers, educational backgrounds, etc. The potential I see in each student is incredible. It is my vision to help get them and their families connected to school. A huge part of getting them connected, is ensuring they have the proper support at home. Family support leads to student success and opportunity. It is my hope that through a Family Resource Library, I can help get students and their families connected to valuable resources on a wide variety of topics that address various student needs. When a student is struggling with a certain issue, we can help connect parents to a free resource that they can check out, that pertains to that issue, so we can be proactive in our approach, and support the whole child.
