My students represent a diverse rural community on the island of Maui. In my inclusive classroom, I have english language learners, students who speak english as a second language, as well as students receiving SPED services. Our school is labeled as Title I, as most of our students are classified as "disadvantaged". Although we are a Title I school, we have a wonderful campus filled with faculty members and staff who are committed to providing the best educational environment possible for our students. We take pride in fostering important values such as our 3 B's: be responsible, be safe, and be respectful. These values represent our overall goal of "mutual respect and shared responsibility." I am truly lucky to be a part of this school and have the opportunity to teach these amazing children.
