My students are Fourth graders that come from various diverse backgrounds. We are a Title 1 school with 54% free and reduced lunch. Our school is nestled on panhandle of Florida on the beautiful Gulf Coast. Our school is crucial part of the community that feeds it. The school is like a family as is our classroom. A family within a family. We instantly bonded as a classroom family taking care of each other and building a support system both socially and academically. My students love to learn and are always eager to jump and help one another learn something new as well as defend our class from nay-sayers. They proudly shine and show their accomplishments and when someone says we can't we show them that we can!
