This new Xylophone will make a world of difference in the musical education of all Sutter Middle School music students. The music room at Sutter holds hundreds of students everyday. This xylophone will be played in band, orchestra and even jazz bands and will fulfill countless other learning opportunities. Currently, the xylophone that we have is over 30 years old and is lying on the floor in pieces. The estimated cost to fix it is over the asking price for a new xylophone. This xylophone is a great addition to the percussion section as it adds depth to the students knowledge in how keyboards work. Learning xylophone is similar to learning the piano which is a basic tool in teaching music.
