99% of our students receive free and reduced-price lunch. It is terribly sad to know what our students are facing at home. In our room, we strive to make our classroom a bright and welcoming class for students who don't have much of their own. In addition to a high poverty rate, we also have students with disabilities in our class as well as ESL learners. There is always a lot going on! It can be best described "organized chaos." Our students have brightened our lives and we hope that we do the same for them!
