Our classroom is made up of children ages 6 and 7, who enjoy every opportunity to learn. My students are typically from low income homes in the innermost part of the city we serve. Subsequently, 99% of the students in our school of approximately 500 students, receive a free or reduced cost lunch. Our Principal, Assistant Principal, and Instructional Coaches work diligently to provide our faculty with professional development appropriate for us as we work diligently to support our students as they work to become readers, writers, mathematicians, and researchers. We believe that we can and will make a difference in the lives of the students we serve each day, in hopes that we can improve their quality of life in the future.

About my class
