One standout moment was watching a group of students who don't usually volunteer suddenly take the lead because they felt confident using the new materials. The resources have made lessons more interactive and student-driven instead of just teacher-led. When I introduced everything, the excitement was immediate. There were gasps, huge smiles, and lots of \"Wait, we get to use these?!\" They were eager to jump in right away.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generous support of our classroom. Now students can easily find the books they're most excited about, and our library feels welcoming and fun.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, reading time has become one of the best parts of our day. The rug is so gorgeous and comfy in the reading center and the students love sitting on the new cushiony pillows that look like slices of tree trunk while reading on this new rug during independent reading. \r\n We have had several rainy days and the students were so happy to use the new STEM focused magnetic blocks and games that were also provided in this grant. It gives them specific ways to create buildings and allows their imagination to blossom while also creating our future engineers at the same time. They have enjoyed using the Play-Do as well during our rainy days to create animals and build farms/houses for the animals. Their seven year old minds have truly shown so much growth by providing them with toys that can help them learn to play together, share, and learn to be creative as well. \r\n In the spring time the students will be able to create a flower garden at school using the seeds that were bought. They will also use the lovely planters and markers to learn how to take care of seeds and watch them germinate into beautiful flowers with many colorful buds. The markers will be used to decorate their planters as well so the students can take them home to have forever. \r\n Once again thank you so much for providing so much for my classroom and students.","fullyFundedDate":1746733378838,"projectUrl":"project/growing-strong-minds/9068748/","projectTitle":"Growing Strong Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lucas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2245134_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1669041957287","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/alicia-lucas"},{"teacherId":9589446,"projectId":9204990,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom!\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest highlights this year was using the materials to tie-dye T-shirts for Field Day.
