My 2nd graders are wonderful and energetic learners. Their excitement and eagerness to learn astound and renew my love of teaching. But, having 30 or so seven and eight year-olds is no easy task to manage. Keeping their attention during lessons is often a challenge, especially if they are feeling disconnected with the topic. If they can't see what I'm talking about that means some students may not be learning to their best potential.

About my class
