Curiosity is at the heart of our school. Our students want to know how things work, why they work, and how they can improve on them. To foster student curiosity and creativity, teachers at our school have been working hard to create a hands-on maker space which we are calling our Design and Innovation Lab. This Lab will give all 1st though 5th grade students and teachers a space where they can explore, engineer, and invent. Instead of exploring STEM concepts within the confines of a regular classroom setting, students will be able create experiments that show the true depth of their learning and design solutions to problems in our modern society.
