My students are four years old and come from different social economic backgrounds. They love working with manipulatives and enjoy the social interaction with peers. They have become a small family within my classroom. My students enjoy being at school every day. I try to make school fun and exciting!!! Our school is one of smallest in our district. It has over approximately 500 students. Our population students come from mostly from a Hispanic background. Our school is located in a small rural city which is surrounded by agriculture. We have beautiful views of the valley. Even though our city is considered a high crime area, our school is in the north side of the city where crime is low.
