We are a Title I school in a small town where we see too many gang related deaths. 95% of our student population are Hispanics who receive free or reduced price lunch. About 70% of their parents work long hours in agriculture. Our school is a safe learning environment in which we implement positive reinforcements and have intervention programs for those students who need them. My students are loving, eager learners. Every day, my students come to school ready to learn and are aware of the choices they are making to succeed and achieve their learning goals.
