I teach three levels of physics to about 110 students each year. We offer Introductory Physics, AP Physics 1, and AP Physics C Mechanics. We are in the process of growing our physics program and expanding enrollment opportunities for students. This past year was our first year officially offering Physics C Mechanics for credit. My school is an urban public high school; it is located in mid-sized city. Approximately 1800 are enrolled in my school where more than half (approximately 54%) qualify for free or reduced lunch. The students that enroll in my classes are hard-working. They do have moments where they struggle to be fully engaged in collaborative groups during class time. This project addresses this issue.
