The materials I am requesting will help promote oral language development with all of my students. Retelling stories helps English Language Learners begin to understand sequence, plot, and characterization as they build vocabulary and comprehension skills. The products I selected will help enhance my students' communication skills and build their vocabulary by retelling stories they are reading with one another to improve their oral language development. My students will be able to verbalize what they read by acting out characters and communicating important parts of the story. Being able to practice communicating with one another will help them in their everyday life.
