My students are amazing. All of my students have at least one low incident disability, which includes but is not limited to, Down Syndrome, Autism, and Intellectual Disabilities; however, this would be the last thing you could use to describe them. Each student in my class is completely different with a unique personality and great sense of humor. They love big and with their whole heart. Our school is wonderful to include each student in my class to the most appropriate level possible; my kids are often rock stars in the hallways giving everyone high-fives and fist bumps.
