Our library manages the students from pre-K to 8th grade. Most students are from a rural area of very high poverty. They do not have money for a lot of the technology most students today have. Coming to the library and checking out books is how they spend their free time. They get really excited whenever I get a new book whether new or used, it is new to them and a new adventure waiting to be read!
