I teach high school Living Environment, Earth Science, Wellness and yoga. I also try to expose the students to more learning outside the classroom. We've gone to the BODIES exhibit as well as the many permanent and traveling exhibits at the American Museum of Natural History. I've also taken students to the Grand Canyon and am currently working on planning a camping trip to the Berkshires. I think these experiences inside and outside the classroom are helping the students and myself build strength, flexibility, concentration and tolerance. It's this holistic learning and teaching that I strive for.
