My first grade class is excited to learn in new ways this school year. We are all a community of learners who work together to do our best. Our school is located in a rural community which supports its diverse learners both in an out of school. Students' parents are very dedicated to our learning and helping out in the classroom. Every day the students come into the classroom with big smiles and open minds. They are respectful of each other and present themselves as positive role models of teamwork. This process of teamwork helps students understand the importance of cooperation within and beyond the classroom.
